ABOUT LEAH
Leah Suskind graduated summa cum laude from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance in 2022. After graduating, Leah participated in the inaugural GibneyPro Training Program, and throughout her summers attended programs at Jacob’s Pillow, Orsolina 28, the Juilliard School, and with companies such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Parsons Dance, the Martha Graham Company, and the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Leah’s choreographic work, “VII”, was selected to perform at the Spring 2023 JCE Jazz Dance Project and the Hartford Dance Festival. Recently, Leah was a dancer in the film, “plenty o’ nuttin” and “From Inside Out”, choreographed by Danielle Diniz, and performed in Jaclyn Walsh’s “Modern Girls” at the Young Choreographer’s Festival. She most recently performed in “Pinocchio, the Musical: The World Premiere” at the Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston, MA as a featured ensemble dancer. After apprenticing with the Jon Lehrer Dance Company (JLDC) for two years, Leah is currently in her second season as a JLDC company member.
