VII (2022)

VII is a celebration of life, community, and movement. As a result of the Pandemic, I struggled with anxiety and have been working hard to see myself through it. I have finally come to a place where I am feeling more like myself, and I wanted to create a piece to reflect the newfound happiness, strength, and confidence I have recently discovered. VII is a pivotal moment in my artistic journey; I challenged myself to work with a large group of dancers and a musical style that I have never worked with. Dance has been my salvation, and I wanted to share my love for choreography with others. ​
